CHESAPEAKE — An adventure park is on its way to Chesapeake. The City Council approved a conditional use permit Tuesday for Osprey Aerial Adventures, which will sit on a 12-acre site at the intersection of Battlefield Boulevard South and Saint Brides Road near the Chesapeake Expressway. The park, modeled after a similar one at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center in Virginia Beach, will offer roughly 17-20 zip lines above hundreds of feet of forest canopy. It will also include three yurts for registration, gear and concessions, restrooms and a small parking lot.
